All EWGA golf, social and education events are open to beginners. In addition, we offer the following programs especially for beginners:
Leagues
We offer beginners' leagues that combine instruction with weekly play on short 9-hole executive courses. If there is sufficient interest, we will sponsor weekend lessons as part of a package that includes "play days" with on-course professional assistance.

Education If you are a new golfer, our golf professional partners provide education programs to help you learn the basics of the game and start to play on the golf course. The current programs are listed on the education page. Ingrid Gallo, LPGA and Dee Forsberg, PGA have lesson programs geared to new golfers and also offer on course play sessions. Also, see our

Mentor / Mentee Program
Our mentor program pairs more experienced golfers with beginner golfers who live in their area or share common professions or interests. Mentor and learner arrange with one another to play at area courses or practice together. At the beginning and close of the season, there will be optional outings for each mentor/learner team.
