On-going This committee is responsible for the newsletter, establishing public relations connections with media in the Twin Cities area, establishing a calling committee, and assisting the other committees with publicity and information distribution. Whether you are an experienced writer or budding artist or just want a venue for expressing your creativity, this committee is for you. We are always looking for new ideas and new faces.

On-going The committee plans a variety of learning opportunities for all members. They will organize clinics, rules classes, and other opportunities that arise. Anyone who wants to learn more about the technical aspects of the game and would like to meet some of the pros in the area should consider this a great opportunity.
| | Events | Duration:
On-going, less work once current year's events are planned This committee plans and hosts the year's events. They decide what kind of events to have and when to have them. They will also host each event. Examples of the events this committee plans: Season Kick-off, tournaments, Chapter Championship, out-of-town weekend, and Year-end Event. You can be involved in the whole committee or help plan one or more individual events. If you want to learn how to put together successful events and meet enthusiastic women, this is the committee for you.

On-going The purpose of this committee to coordinate all leadership development functions of the chapter, including conducting satisfaction surveys of the membership, searching out chapter members to fill volunteer positions on committees, and coordinating the volunteer recognition program.
| | League | Duration:
On-going, less work once current year's league is planned Plan and monitor all league play. The committee will decide when and when league play will take place, negotiate with clubs and monitor the play throughout the summer. The committee will also be looking for league coordinators to help the leagues run smoothly, organize after golf social hours and games. People interested in learning more about organizing a league are encouraged to become part of the league committee.

On-going, most work takes place in the 1st and 2nd quarters The committee plans the membership drive including responding to requests for information, sending out welcome packets and looking for opportunities to recruit new members. The committee is also responsible for member retention by ensuring that current members' needs are being met as well as maintaining the membership database.
| | Networking | Duration:
On-going, approximately two hours per month This committee focuses on planning and implementing networking events. Members will plan times, dates and places for networking events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who likes to plan small events (or wants to learn) but only has a limited amount time to devote to EWGA. Also provides a great way to learn new networking skills.
| | Sponsorship | Duration:
On-going, less work once the major sponsors are obtained. This committee plans the sponsorship drive, targets likely sponsors at all levels of the organization and ensures that obligations of sponsors are met. This includes year-round sponsors, event sponsors and goodie bag sponsors. Input from all members is encouraged. If you have a lot of contacts in the area or have sales skills, this committee provides a great way to build your relationships and refine your skills.
